  • Step 1: The Scan 🤳

      Your personal story starts in our private scanning area, where comfort and privacy are paramount. Meet Ashtyn Probus, our official scanner, boasting extensive experience from her years of being the proprietor and operater of waxing company To The Root Of It, ensuring a respectful and comfortable scanning process. Utilizing advanced 3D scanning technology, Ashtyn captures the unique contours of your behind, setting the stage for your transformation from a simple moment to a celebrated art piece.

  • Step 2: The Transformation 🔨

      Once your digital scan is complete, the next phase brings your silhouette into the tangible world. At this stage, your digital model is 3D printed using PLA or ASA plastic, known for their durability and quality. The print is meticulously sanded down to create a stunning marble effect on the plastic, elevating the aesthetic of your personal sculpture. As we look to the future, plans are underway to create a silicone mold from this print, allowing for the creation of sculptures in plaster, cement, or resin, further expanding the ways in which your contribution can be immortalized within the Sarasota community canvas.

  • Step 3: The Exhibition 🎨

      The final and most rewarding step is seeing your sculpture become part of the SRQ.Butts public art exhibition. Installed in strategic locations throughout Sarasota, your piece joins a collective display that not only enhances the city's beauty but also makes a bold statement about individuality and collective identity.
